Custom ceramic mugs from Liling — mug types on a studio backdrop

Custom mug pricing you can plan against

Published pricing

Plan the budget before the first email.

We publish tier pricing because buyers should be able to plan a mug program without a week of email ping-pong. The prices below include printing and standard packaging. Final quotes depend on size, decoration, packaging and quantity — but this is the range you can budget against.

All prices are indicative, FOB Liling, for a standard 11oz ceramic mug. Use them to compare programs and decide where your specification sits before requesting a firm quote.

Tier pricing

Three quantity tiers. Printing and packaging included.

The per-mug price steps down as the run gets longer. Mixed designs can be combined to reach a tier; the decoration setup is confirmed at quote stage.

What moves the price

The same mug can quote differently for five reasons

When a quote comes in above the tier price, one of these variables is usually responsible. We show the driver rather than hiding it in a single number.

01

Body & material

Ceramic vs stoneware vs bone china, wall thickness and capacity.

02

Decoration

Number of colours, wrap coverage, decal vs screen print vs relief.

03

Packaging

Gift box, printed sleeve, inserts, FSC board and labels.

04

Quantity

Tier breaks, mixed-design setup and total run length.

05

Incoterm & freight

FOB, EXW or CIF, sea vs air, destination port and timing.

How to read a quote

FOB, EXW or CIF — know what the number includes

Two quotes for the same mug can look different because they stop at different points in the journey. Confirm the incoterm before comparing totals.

FOB Liling

Our default. The price covers the mug, printing and packaging delivered to the port; you arrange the main freight and insurance. Easiest to compare between suppliers.

EXW Liling

Ex-works. The price stops at the factory; you collect, export and insure. Useful when you already have a freight forwarder and want the lowest product cost.

CIF destination port

Cost, insurance and freight to your port. Convenient for a single landed number, but compare the freight line separately before you decide.

Sample & lead time

What happens after you approve the quote

A quote is only useful if the calendar works. The sample is approved before production capacity is booked; the production window starts from that approval.

Physical samples usually ship in 7–10 days after artwork approval. The sample fee is credited against the production order. Production runs 30–45 days after sample approval; sea freight is typically around 30 days.

Pricing questions

Are these prices final?

No. The tier prices are indicative benchmarks for a standard 11oz ceramic mug, FOB Liling, including one-position printing and standard packaging. A firm quote is confirmed after we review the body, decoration, packaging, quantity and destination.

What is included in the tier price?

Printing from one colour to full-wrap decoration, standard inner tray/carton packaging, a free digital mockup and a photo QC report. Launch Kit assets and audit documents are available as part of a qualified production program.

What is not included?

Freight, duties and taxes, new mould or tooling, third-party lab testing and rush surcharges are quoted separately. The quote states the incoterm so you can see exactly where the price stops.

Why is my quote higher than the tier price?

The tier price assumes a standard body, simple packaging and one print position. A different material, multiple colours, full wrap, premium gift box or a smaller run can move the price. We show the driver instead of hiding it in one number.

Can mixed designs reach a tier?

Mixed designs can share a production run when they use the same body and compatible decoration. The minimum applies per design and decoration setup; we confirm the mix at quote stage.

Is the sample fee credited against the order?

Yes. The sample fee is credited against the production order once the sample is approved. Physical samples usually ship 7–10 days after artwork approval.

Which incoterm do you quote?

FOB Liling is the default. EXW and CIF are available on request. Confirm the incoterm before comparing quotes, because a CIF total includes freight and insurance that FOB does not.

What is the lead time?

Production runs 30–45 days after sample approval. Sea freight is typically around 30 days; air freight is available for urgent programs at a higher cost.
