Choose the body first, then everything else

This page groups mugs by body material. It is a material shortlist, not a shape, price or market list. It does not rank mugs by capacity, decoration, feature or market — if material is already decided, move to By Size, By Decoration or By Feature.

Material questions

Which material is best for retail?

Ceramic and porcelain are the most common retail bodies; stoneware suits premium café ranges and bone china suits premium gifting.

Is bone china durable enough for daily use?

Bone china is lighter and thinner than stoneware but still suitable for careful daily use; for heavy commercial service we usually recommend porcelain or stoneware.

Can I mix materials in one order?

No — one production run uses one body. Different materials are quoted as separate runs.

How do I choose between ceramic and porcelain?

Choose porcelain for a brighter white and higher chip resistance; choose ceramic for a broader glaze and decoration range at a lower unit cost.

Can I mix designs to reach the 500-piece MOQ?

Yes — mixed designs and colors can be combined in the same body and decoration method to reach the 500-piece tier.

Can I get a sample before production?

Yes — samples take 7–10 days with your artwork, and the sample fee is credited against your production order.

Need this mug in your own design?

Send us the artwork and the quantity you need — we confirm minimum order quantity, decoration method and lead time the same day.
